You will be joining the Maltese subsidiary of Mobilize Financial Services: RCI Life/RCI Insurance.

RCI Life/RCI Insurance is the Group’s insurance company offering a range of insurance products and services linked to financings, vehicles and our customers. Backed by an international network, RCI Life/RCI Insurance was established in Malta in 2008 and now has 35 employees.

What you will do ?

– Product development and pricing – defining and leading pricing studies for RCI Malta’s insurance programs.
– IFRS17 reserving – calculate IFRS17 reserves using actuarial methods and models. Providing all actuarial data/assumptions and producing cash flow projections (LRC, LIC) to calculate reserves at the various year-ends.
– Solvency II – calculation of reserve levels, capital requirements, dividend amounts. Preparing regular and Pillar II reports. You will be responsible for drawing up the risk management policy and producing the reference framework for measuring risks.
– Technical monitoring of portfolios – regular monitoring of portfolio technical and risk factors and alert indicators.
– Modelling – development of the actuarial, statistical and data tools (methods, models) needed for actuarial studies, better knowledge and estimation of risks, automation, and optimization of data.
– Providing actuarial support for operational activities and projects.

Who we are looking for ?

• Master university degree, including the diploma in actuarial science,
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an actuary in the insurance field.
• Beyond your experience, we are above all looking for qualities of analysis and rigor and endowed with an open-mindedness and a developed sense of relationship.

IT Skills:
• Advanced skills in one of these software’s: “R”/”R-Studio”, “Python”, “VBA”
• Experience with SQL/MySQL ➔ general understanding of relational databases

Language:
Fluent English is mandatory because you will evolve in an international context.
