Claim Handler (German speaker)

Location: Mercury Tower, The Exchange Financial & Business Centre, Triq Elia Zammit, St Julian’s STJ 3155, Malta. The company: RCI Insurance Ltd is an insurance subsidiary of Mobilize Financial Services which is wholly owned by Renault Group. The company offers a comprehensive range of financing and related services for car customers of Renault Group. Backed by an international network, RCI Insurance Ltd has established itself in Malta to handle business related to protection insurance from various European Countries. Responsibilities:

• Administer claims ensuring that both agreed turnaround targets and quality targets are met.
• Take responsibility for Claims workload assigned.
• Take responsibility for claim decision making respecting own individual level of authority.
• Identify and communicate any requirements to our clients and third party service providers in an effective manner.
• Handle communication, (all mediums) regarding claims with service providers, sales partners solving problems swiftly and preventing unnecessary delays.
• Continually review and action Claims on a daily basis.
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere to Claims procedures and processes, propose changes and solution to improve them.
• Ensure accuracy in all written correspondence to clients and sales intermediaries.
• Ensure the integrity of the claims process and system data.
• Contribute to the team’s service delivery goals by achieving personal targets for effectiveness and quality.
• Liaise with colleagues as well as with other internal departments and external parties (TPAs, RCI Subsidiaries).
• Keep up-to-date on technical aspects of the job – products, procedures and compliance issues.

Profile:

• Language Skills: Fluent in English and German – Written and conversation

(Additional European Language would be considered an asset)

• Knowledge of Life and Health/Disability Insurance claim assessment and decision trees
• Knowledge/Interest in Medical investigations and common medical terms
• Ideally proven experience obtained in a similar insurance claim management role
